Reem Acra, Lebanese designer of glamorous wedding dresses with headquarters in New York, celebrates her success and entry into the world of beauty industry with the launch of the first perfume simply named Reem Acra Eau de Parfum. This fragrance reflects the designer's devotion to the classics and modern luxury and sophistication.
The designer told wwd magazine: “Basically, I think this fragrance is special because it’s not a made-up story. It’s my life story. Amber has been part of my homes since I was a little kid — we used to collect it [in Lebanon.] Peonies are my favorite flower and every morning I drink orange blossom, steeped in hot water, to relax."
The fragrance is created by perfumer Pierre Negrin of Firmenich. It includes bergamot, peach and orange blossom at the top; ginger, jasmine, lily of the valley and peony in the heart; and amber, cedar, patchouli and warm musk in the base.
